Privacy Notice
Effective 29 July 2026. This notice explains the network requests, analytics, cookies, and retention used by minecraftlocatorbarcolorchecker.com.
Analytics begins when the page loads. This site does not display a consent banner. Google Analytics 4 and any enabled Cloudflare performance measurement run automatically, subject to browser settings, extensions, and network blocking.
Google Analytics 4
The site uses Google Analytics 4 with Measurement ID G-XD87W5K3R5 to understand traffic and improve the checker. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar identifiers and process technical information such as page path, referrer, browser and device characteristics, approximate location derived from the connection, session activity, and interaction timestamps.
Enhanced measurement is enabled for page loads, scrolls, outbound links, site search, form interactions, embedded video engagement, and file downloads. The site also records purpose-built events for lookup starts, successful or failed checks, result-copy actions, comparison usage, FAQ opens, and command-generator actions.
The site does not intentionally send the Minecraft username, UUID, copied value, custom label, Hex value, or command target you enter as an Analytics event parameter. Analytics page locations omit URL query parameters, and automatic page views caused by browser-history changes are disabled in the GA4 stream.
Retention and reporting
The GA4 property is configured to retain user-level and event-level data for 14 months. Google notes that this setting does not control every aggregated standard report. Google may process data under its own terms and privacy documentation.

Checker inputs and third-party services
- Pasted UUID: normalized and calculated locally in the browser.
- Username lookup: sent to PlayerDB; if that request fails, the checker tries MCState. Those providers receive the requested username and ordinary connection metadata.
- Player avatar: after a successful result, the page requests a player-head image from MC Heads using the resolved username or UUID.
- Generated values: color calculations, comparisons, and command formatting run in the browser. The site has no account system or application database.
Cloudflare hosting and security
Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. It necessarily processes request information such as IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamps, and security signals to deliver content and mitigate abuse. If Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, Cloudflare also receives privacy-oriented performance and usage telemetry. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Your browser controls
You can block or delete cookies, disable JavaScript, use tracking protection or a content blocker, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking JavaScript prevents the checker itself from calculating colors; blocking only analytics endpoints may leave the tool functional.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated when the site's measurement, providers, or functionality changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
